Kito customers can take advantage of our free Hoist Safety & Repair Training programs. Sessions can be held at your facility, and are facilitated by highly trained Factory Representatives and Technical Trainers. Product Knowledge Session (PKS)

The purpose of Kito's Product Knowledge Sessions is to help you develop a general understanding of common terminology related to Kito products, where they fit in the market, and how to sell them. You will also gain an understanding of how to identify abuse, neglect, and improper applications around safety, performance, and durability.

Kito Academy

Kito Academy will help you develop a strong understanding of new Kito products, where they fit in the market, and how to sell them. The objective is to enhance your learning experience by giving you an opportunity to see, hear, and feel our new products up close in action.

Chain Hoist Safety Orientation Session (SOS)

Option 1: Lever / Manual Hoists

Gain a heightened sense of awareness for lever and manual chain hoist safety. Learn inspection techniques, how hoist design can impact user safety, and how to ensure the correct safety procedures are in place.

Option 2: Powered Hoists

This session covers all aspects of how to inspect and safely use Kitos powered chain hoists. Learn correct inspection techniques, how the hoist design can impact user safety, and how to ensure the correct safety procedures are in place.

Option 3: All Hoists

This comprehensive session covers lever, manual, and powered hoists -- both usage and safety.

Chain Hoist Equipment Safety Check (CHES Check) 

For tool crib, Safety, and Maintenance personnel 
To heighten the safety awareness of those workers who perform daily safety inspections on hoists.

Repair Demonstration Clinic (RDC)

For Designated Repair Technicians  
Provides repair technicians with the key information on how to inspect and repair a Kito hoist.

Hoist Repair School

Option 1: Manual Hoist Repair School (MHRS)

Manual Hoist Repair School covers the examination, disassembly, inspection, assembly, and testing of Kito manual products including:

  • L4, L5, & L5-SC series lever hoists
  • CF series manual chain hoists
  • M3CB, M3CB-SC series manual chain hoists
  • TS2 series beam trolleys
  • UBC series beam clamps
  • LX series mini-lever hoists
  • CX series mini-manual chain hoists

Option 2: Power Hoist Repair School (PHRS)

Powered Hoist Repair School covers all current and recently discontinued electrical and air powered hoists including:

  • SER/ER1 series electric chain hoists
  • ER2 series electric chain hoists
  • MR2 series motorized trolleys
  • ED series electric chain hoists
  • TCR series air chain hoists
